Receipt books, 1789-1836. Most of the receipts are for household expenses and purchases for Van Solingen's drug business. A few receipts, dated 1792, show Van Solingen acting on behalf of Nicholas Romayne, and one volume, dated 1811-1831, contains receipts of Ryneer Suydam, some showing Van Solingen acting as his agent. Accompanied by a folder of contemporary newspaper clippings on miscellaneous subjects, 1789-1836.
